Multistream - Disconnects, Dropped Frames, and Platform-Specific Multistreaming Challenges

Investigating - New update for Streamlabs Desktop (see below)

Notes:

Update: A new update has been provided to Streamlabs Desktop users that should help alleviate multistream issues on both 1.18.3 and 1.19.0 (newest version releasing to all users soon). Please go through the below information if you still experience issues on a new stream after 7/1/2025 10:00 AM PST.

Some users may be experiencing performance issues while multistreaming, including dropped frames, latency, or disconnection. We are investigating this issue and will provide an update as soon as possible. 

In the meantime, We have seen an uptick in reports regarding various multistreaming issues. We fixed a routing issue, but if you are still having issues, please share the following information to our team via a ticket:

  • What major city/country you are in
  • What date/time you started experiencing the issue(s)
  • What platforms were you streaming to
  • Which platforms experienced the issue(s)
  • If you are using Streamlabs Desktop, please provide your Diagnostic report
  • A screenshot of a tracert to our ingest server
How to Share Your Diagnostic Report
  1. Click on Settings in Streamlabs Desktop
  2. Go to Get Support
  3. Press Upload Diagnostic Report
  4. Paste this in the Diagnostic Report Code section toward the bottom of the ticket submission
How to perform a a tracert
  1. Open up the CMD prompt in Windows
    You can do this by clicking the Start button, type in CMD and then select Command prompt from the list.
  2. Please copy and paste into the command prompt: tracert restream-ingest.streamlabs.com
  3. Hit Enter to start the test.
  4. Once done, please screenshot the test results and paste it in your ticket submission
