What's going on?
Our team has been following reports of the latest NVIDIA drivers and relating issues surrounding them. We are suggesting the following drivers for all of our articles until we receive more feedback about resolutions with common issues being faced on the current drivers:
If you are on NVIDIA driver 595.71 (updated Mar 02, 2026): Update to the hotfix 595.76 from the forum link here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/583240/announcing-geforce-hotfix-driver-59576-released-34/.
If you aren't on 595.71 or you still are having issues with 595.76 you have options:
- The most recent stable NVIDIA driver: 591.86 from January 27th, 2026: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/263200/. This would be best for if you are playing games that were released recently and need that driver support.
- The best performing NVIDIA drivers for individuals that set overclocking, etc: 576.88 from July 1st, 2025: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/248979/. These appear to be performing the best by comments from the community, but you may lose out on some newer game support.
