Though many people may be aware of Streamlabs Desktop and some of the features it offers for live streamers, a unique newer feature is Dual Output, which allows users to multistream with Streamlabs to one vertical and one horizontal platform simultaneously for free.
This is particularly useful for creators who wish to broadcast on platforms with different orientations, such as multistreaming to TikTok (vertical) and YouTube (horizontal), for example. Dual Output helps easily reach audiences on different platforms with different canvas sizes without the need for multiple setups.
Want more flexibility while you’re live? With Streamlabs Ultra, enable Live Output Editing before going live to add or remove destinations without ending your full stream. With Dual Output enabled, you can manage horizontal and vertical destinations during the same stream session.

Streamlabs Desktop Multistream with TikTok
Did you know you can stream to TikTok LIVE using Streamlabs Desktop? Furthermore, if your account has been approved for live streaming, you can add TikTok as an additional streaming destination (as long as you have a primary destination set) in Streamlabs Desktop.
Set your primary destination and link your TikTok account by heading to Settings → Stream. Then, you can multistream to one horizontal platform for free or upgrade to Streamlabs Ultra to stream to multiple vertical platforms or more than two total.
Two Separate Camera Setups
Another method to multistream is using two separate camera setups entirely. This approach can be more complex and technically demanding, but it allows you to multistream to different platforms without relying on a multistreaming service.
This method requires setting up two independent cameras and streaming each feed to a different platform. While feasible in a pinch, it is generally less efficient and more cumbersome compared to using dedicated streaming software like Streamlabs which allows you to manage everything in one place.
