Streamlabs Desktop System Requirements

There are very few minimum system requirements needed to run Streamlabs Desktop. However, depending on the types of streaming you plan to do, the guidelines below will help you determine if your computer is up to the task. 

Minimum system requirements:

Operating System: Either Windows 10 or macOS 10.14 or higher


While the minimum requirements may work well for most streamers, if you want to stream resource-intensive games or digital art creation and use animated overlays or advanced plugins, we recommend the following specs for your streaming PC. Depending on the content you're streaming, other programs you have running and your hardware, you may need to adjust your settings for the best performance. RAM: 16GB+

Storage: 512GB SSD or more

Internet: Ethernet connection. Also review what upload speeds you need for live streaming (3.6 Mbps or better for 720p at 30 fps for most platforms) and our tips on bitrate settings.
