If you are new to streaming on Twitch, engaging with your community is a major part of the job. When someone interacts with your stream, it's essential that you give them a shoutout. Not only does this make them feel special (and hopefully encourage more interaction), but it also builds rapport with your community.
But engaging with your viewers is only part of the job. It would help if you converted those viewers into community members that want to support your stream regularly. You can use a couple of tools to make this process as simple as possible. From including important links in your chat commands to editing your bio with links to your social media, but one of the best ways is by adding and customizing your Twitch panels.
Twitch panels are a great way to add information about yourself, rules for your channel, links to your tip page, or your merch store. They can also make your stream look more professional. You'll be surprised at how much a minor change like this will affect your viewers' viewing experience - they might even feel more compelled to subscribe!
In this article, we'll show you how to add and create custom Twitch panels, the correct panel dimensions, and an awesome panel maker you can use.
How to Edit Panels on Twitch
When it comes to adding and editing panels on Twitch, the process is fairly straightforward. Open Twitch.tv, click on your profile icon, and head to your channel.
Now, click on the “About” section, and toggle on the button that says, “Edit Panels”.
Now you’ll be able to add images, titles, descriptions, and links to everything from your social media profiles, tip page, merch store, and anything else you want your audience to see!
Twitch Panel Size
Wondering what size your Twitch panels need to be? Twitch panel images should be 320 x 160 pixels and have an aspect ratio of 3:1. The height can vary, but the width is fixed at 320 px. Images must either be in JPG or PNG format with a maximum file size limit of 2.9MB.
