How to Multistream on Mobile

Mobile live streaming is a great way for creators to go live whenever and wherever they want. Many live streaming platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram all offer live streaming features directly in their mobile apps. However, live streaming through native apps is limiting because you can only stream to that social platform.

The most important part of building your brand is getting your name, products, and content in front of as many members of your target audience as possible. This often means creating and nurturing an online presence on multiple platforms.

If you choose to go live through the native apps, you will end up having to choose one platform to stream live content and then post a copy of the session on every other platform. Or worse, repeat the same live session on several platforms.

Fortunately, 3rd party mobile applications like the Streamlabs Mobile App allow you to multistream your live stream to multiple social media destinations with just a few taps and is available for Streamlabs Ultra members.

What is multistreaming?

Multistreaming is also known as simulcasting or restreaming. This is the process of streaming a single piece of live content to multiple platforms simultaneously. Utilizing web-based streaming software or hardware encoders allows users to stream a live feed to multiple destinations at the same time. For example, simultaneously stream live content to Facebook and YouTube.
