Streamlabs Desktop and Chatbot requires some additional files (Visual C++ 2022 Redistributables) that might not be currently installed on your system. Please download and run both of these Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 redistributables. Restart your computer after installing this.
Note: Both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions should be installed, even if you have a 64-bit version of Windows.
If you are having issues/ errors with installing these redistributables, then modify and repair them. You can do that via the following steps.
- Press your Windows key and search "add or remove programs" and open that.
- Search for C++
- Scroll down to the redistributables for 2022 and later.
- If you see both x64 and x86 versions: Click on the ⋮ > then click Modify > Allow changes > proceed to repair them.
- If you don't see one or both: Find any that start at 2015 and click on ⋮ > Uninstall > Find any without a date (like the screenshot here) > Uninstall > use the links above
- Lastly, restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
