How to Update Your Widget URL's from TwitchAlerts.com to Streamlabs.com

On 4/1/2019, the TwitchAlerts.com domain will stop redirecting to Streamlabs.com. To make sure you have no disruption in service, replace the text twitchalerts.com in the url with streamlabs.com instead (the rest of the url will remain unchanged). 

Warning, Your TwitchAlerts Browser Source is Outdated. Please update your widget url's to avoid interruptions in service. 

If you've received the following error message, here's what you need to do: 

Step 1: Open Your Streaming Software

  • We'll use Streamlabs Desktop in this example, but the process is the same for all streaming software.

Step 2: Edit Your Widget URL's

  • Click to select the widget
  • Click the settings to access the widget url
  • Replace each instance of TwitchAlerts.com with Streamlabs.com
    • The rest of the URL can stay the same
  • Click Done
  • Repeat this process for each widget that's referencing the TwitchAlerts.com domain

    Help! I am running OBS 25.0.8 and SLOBS 0.21.2

    For complicated reasons, I can't actually stream with SLOBS so I just use OBS. I somehow got the sources I wanted out of SLOBS and things are pretty good at the moment. However, I want to add the Donation Goal widget from SLOBS to OBS. Can't seem to find the widget URL

    Update: I have the widget url in the Browser Source but nothing shows!
