Getting Started with Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS)

This guide is meant to show the basics on how to get started with SLOBS so you can stream!

So, let's get started shall we!

When you first open SLOBS for the first time after you've gone through the install, you will be asked to login with your streaming account.

Now after you've logged in, you should be asked if you want to import your profile from OBS-Studio (optional)

Then after that, you can then choose some widgets that you want to use. (optional)

The next step would be optimization, which will try to pick the best settings for your system.

Once all of the initial setup is done, you will then be presented with your editor, which will look familiar to people who've used OBS.

You can add new sources easily by clicking the + sign above the sources list

Anyone who has used OBS should be familiar with the settings menu, as we've kept most of the settings the same.

One of the largest changes in SLOBS vs any other streaming software, is the Library, where you can get Free Themes/Overlays.

We also have the live tab, which will combine your chat, recent events (streamlabels) and stream preview in one window.

Another nice thing is, you can edit your alerts and widgets without having to open your dashboard in your web browser.

Now once you have gotten everything setup the way you want, you should be good to start streaming. If you need any support with anything in SLOBS, we suggest that you join our discord support server at: https://discord.gg/stream Happy Streaming!
